Dr. Hale Tolleth’s primary emphasis of practice has been cleft lip and palate. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern California and completed his plastic surgery training at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco. He served a fellowship in plastic surgery with the African Medical and Research Foundation in Nairobi, Kenya. Dr. Tolleth’s academic activities include serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine and Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery, University of California, Davis. He has been on the board of directors of Interplast, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, PLASTIKOS, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic surgery, and the California Cleft and Craniofacial Coalition. Dr. Tolleth’s overseas work includes the countries of Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Western Samoa, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Indonesia, the Phillipines, Mexico, Honduras, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and the Republic of Palau.
